We the ES-8 (Electronics Stream Batch-8) of Indian Air Force are a group of selected Air Craftsmen who have enrolled in the year 1978 and have been streamlined into various faculties of India Air Force training institutions.
We, after completion of intensive training at various training institutions, passed out with multifarious skills, to serve the Indian Air Force Air Power. Having been posted at various AF squadrons and AF Units, we rendered maintenance and functionality of various ground and Air equipment’s, to make IAF air worthy.
Having served for several years and having been promoted to higher ranks, we chose to take voluntary retirement for our own personal reasons.
Having taken VRS, we sought re employment in various Govt. Civil service, Private institutions or even started our own enterprises.
We, all in common, attribute our achievements for IAF for nurturing, for the intellectual training, for inculcating discipline and for having made us worthy, to explore opportunity in the civil world.
As days and years passed by, we either have taken second retirement by virtue of age or some have continued to work even in the golden age.
Now, as senior citizens, we thought it was the time to reunite and reconnect with all the ES-8 training mates and have a congregation of reunion. We organized our first reunion on 16th & 17th Nov,23 at hotel “INAARA”-Bangalore.
We expect the trend of reunion to continue and having similar function annually at different state destinations.
Lastly, we always remain thankful to IAF for having shaped our future and made us what we are today
